When Daily Dose Juice Ltd took over the lease of a recently vacated fruit processing facility in Corby, they faced a significant challenge: transforming the outdated space into a modern, high-performance operation to support their growing business and fight food waste on a grand scale.

The Task
The factory, which included high-care and low-care areas, required a complete overhaul and upgrades to meet Daily Dose’s rigorous standards for hygiene, safety, and sustainability. VOOR began with a 3D scan of the entire site, creating a comprehensive list of remediation needs. This precise survey laid the foundation for our designs, proposals, and an accelerated project timeline to meet tight customer expectations.

The High-Pressure Challenge
A key upgrade was installing two High Pressure Processing (HPP) machines—essential for Daily Dose’s mission of producing nutrient-rich, cold-pressed juices without heat pasteurisation. These 77-metric-tonne machines required custom-engineered base plates and robust foundations. In just two weeks, VOOR organised borehole testing, soil analysis, structural engineering, and pile design for the new plant. Using the detailed 3D survey, we ensured the foundations were set with pinpoint accuracy, delivering a seamless installation process.

Aligning with Daily Dose’s Mission
Daily Dose’s mission is about more than juice; it’s about resetting industry norms by rescuing wonky, surplus fruit and veg and turning them into fresh, nutritious juices. This ethos extends to their production process, which minimises waste and transforms pulp into biogas and biofertiliser via anaerobic digestion. By upgrading their Corby facility, VOOR helped Daily Dose scale their operations to rescue even more produce, reduce food waste, and meet growing demand for sustainable, cold-pressed juices.
